View embedded VASA SE settings details
Unisphere supports the display of embedded VASA SE settings.

Steps
- Select the storage system.
- Select Serviceability > Applications > VASA.
- Select the SE SETTINGS tab.

Select
Base Configuration from the left panel to view the
General SYMAPI Options.
The following General SYMAPI Options properties display:
- GNS Mirrored Group Control - Allows group modifications to device groups created by a remote GNS daemon using remote SRDF mirroring. Select ENABLE or DISABLE(default value) from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save to save changes, click Reset to reset the values to their defaults.

Select
Service Configuration from the left panel to view the services.
The following properties display for Event Notification Services:
- Log Level - Specifies a severity-based control over logging volume. Select error, info, debug, verbose, or warning(default setting) from the drop-down menu.
- Logfile Retention - Specifies the number of days logs are retained. Select the number of days, the default setting is 3 days.
The following properties display for Global Name Services:
- Log Level - Specifies a severity-based control over logging volume. Select error, info, debug, verbose, or warning(default setting) from the drop-down menu.
- Logfile Retention - Specifies the number of days logs are retained. Select the number of days, the default setting is 3 days.
- GNS Device Poll Interval - Specifies how frequently storgnsd polls for changes that are made to groups from other hosts. The default value is 15 s.
- GNS PPATH Poll Interval - Specifies how frequently storgnsd checks to see whether PowerPath or SRDF consistency group updates are necessary. The default value is 60 s.
- GNS Remote Mirror - Specifies whether storgnsd should automatically mirror RDF1 and RDF2 type DG and CG group definitions for use on remote (SRDF) Symmetrix arrays. Select enable or disable(default value) from the drop-down menu.
- GNS Remote Array Update Interval - Specifies how frequently storgnsd should attempt to propagate device groups over to remote (SRDF) Symmetrix arrays. The default value is 60 s.
- Click Save to save change, click Reset to reset the values to their defaults.

Symavoid from the left panel to view the services.
Available Systems and Symavoid Systems are listed. Add systems from Available Systems to Symavoid Systems or from Symavoid Systems to Available Systems.
